Stainless Steel Price is Reaching a New High
China canceled the 13% tax rebate on stainless steel export in early May which substantially elevated the price in the market.
It is saying that soon China is going to impose an extra 10-25% tax on stainless steel export. This will even fuel the rising price to higher spot.
Today the major raw material mills, YUSCO, has announced its pricing for June 2021. The price for material 304 has gone up by USD 435 per ton, material 316 by USD 510 per ton, and material 430 by USD 220 per ton.
